One of the creative female gospel musicians we have in the country Mama Afia Owusuaa is
Mama Afia Owusuaa who is also known with her accolade ‘Ahugaa’ is one of the few female gospel musicians who can play their own instruments and direct sound engineers as to how they want their songs to go.
She is a pianist and a very wonderful guitarist.
She is now releasing her next album and she calls it No Shaking. The launch will take place at the Christ for All Nations Church near Alajo Football Park, same place she launched her popular Ahuga album four years ago. This is a history repeating itself.
According to her, this alone tells her God has His Hands on this particular album.
The No Shaking album contains ten tracks. They include the likes of Ahenmuhen, Oboafo, Nhema Atete, Catcheeee, Yeadawase, My Supplier, Adom (Worship), Hallelujah (Worship), Yesore Wo (Worship) among others.
Taking four years to record music should tell anyone the songs on this album have really been cooked, arranged, composed, recorded, mixed and mastered professionally. “Being able to compose songs and knowing how to play your own instruments is not a mere thing.
I really thank God for calling me to be part of the end time ministry. I want to use this opportunity to invite all and sundry to come and support me unveil this album,” she stated.
“There will be a lot of gospel musicians coming to Grace this event.
I thank my husband, children and my church pastors and leaders including all my fans for their support and prayers all these while,” Maa Afia Owusuaa expressed gratitude.
